App-Based Programming and Management

This product is paired with the SL Access app for both user access with a smartphone but also to greatly simplify the task of setup and management for the installer and administrator. Initial setup is much faster, and the setup and user data can be downloaded for almost instant setup of additional devices. Follow up administration is also simple without consulting a manual for setup codes. A downloadable Audit Trail gives you easy, ongoing security and access monitoring.

Troubleshooting:

Users can't access the device and the LED is flashing between red and blue.
  • The wrong-code lockout has been activated. Either wait till the set lockout time has expired, or the ADMIN can use the app to interrupt the lockout.

My device doesn't show on the home screen.
  • Move closer to the device. Exit and reopen the app.

I've lost the phone which I've used as ADMIN.
  • You can switch to any other phone and log in with your ADMIN password. However, immediately change the ADMIN password for better security.

The home screen always says "Log In" even after I have logged in.
  • Bluetooth LE doesn't keep a permanent connection to your phone so it can't know whether you are logged in to a nearby device or not. You should normally not need to log in again if you continue to use the same device.

Another device is showing on my home screen and I am not logged in.
  • The app will scan for and show nearby devices and the strongest signal will appear at the top of the screen. However, you will not be able to access the device unless you have the device's ADMIN passcode or a user passcode for the device.

Clicking "Settings" does not take me to the ADMIN settings.
  • Make sure that the device shown at the top of the home screen is a device you have credentials for. Make sure that you have logged in as ADMIN.

I'm seeing "Door forced open" in the Audit Trail, but I know no one has forced entry.
  • The same message is used to indicate a door propped open. If a door is kept open longer than the set relock time, it will register as "Door forced open."

The locked icon returns to the home screen even when the door is still unlocked.
  • The unlocked icon only shows that a signal has been sent to unlock the door. Because Bluetooth LE only maintains the connection long enough to send an "unlock" signal, it cannot know when the door is relocked.

A user is not able to unlock the door.
  • Ensure that the user is logged in with the correct user ID and passcode.
  • If scheduled or temporary, make sure that the time setting for AM and PM are correct.

I can't find the backup file on my iOS phone.
  • The settings backup file is not accessible to users on iOS.

All orders are shipped between 24 hours or less Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00pm. Orders placed after 4 p.m. EST will be shipped next business day. 

We may use the following carriers; FedEx, USPS and UPS. Our orders ship via FedEx within 48 continental U.S. states, Canada , Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. FedEx does not service P.O. Box or APO/FPO addresses .

We start processing the shipment of orders after we processed the payment.

We retain the right to temporarily suspend the shipping of any orders suspected of fraudulent activity until the verification process has been successfully completed.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items delivered in accordance with our shipping and delivery practices listed above. We are willing to work with a carrier to resolve any issues regarding your delivery.

Once a package has been shipped out per your order specifications, it is literally out of our hands and becomes the responsibility of the shipping carrier selected. We can't stop, delay or expedite any shipments once they have been shipped.

Only shipping services which have the transit time in the title (Next Day, Overnight, 2-Day, etc.) are guaranteed transit times. All other transit times (Ground, Priority, etc.) are estimates and are not guaranteed by the carrier or by LOCKSMITH KEYLESS. Shipping delays due to weather are not refundable as per the shipping carriers. Saturday delivery is not a guaranteed service. If Saturday delivery is selected and the shipment does not arrive on Saturday no shipping charges can be refunded.


Puerto Rico, Alaska & Hawaii

Orders to Puerto Rico, Alaska & Hawaii will not qualify for free shipping if they have ANY Hardware products on them and/or Key Machines. Only Automotive products are eligible for Free Shipping.


Order Verification

In the event that your order is flagged by our system for any reason, we will promptly notify you via email to initiate additional verification steps. These steps may include:

  • Providing a selfie-formatted picture of your ID
  • Providing evidence of your address
  • Verifying credit card ownership
  • Submitting a screenshot of the relevant bank transaction
  • Verification of business/ownership

Please note that the proof of address can be any mail item that displays both your name and the shipping address.

Weekend Orders

All orders placed after hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on Monday or the next business day in case of a holiday.

Friday - Overnight orders placed on Friday must be done before 2PM Eastern. Friday Overnight deliveries will arrive Monday unless a special Saturday delivery Overnight option is checked. 

Saturday and Sunday - Orders will be shipped on Monday or the next business day in case of a holiday.


International Shipping

For international shipping, please note that you may be responsible for paying any possible customs and import duties at the time of delivery, however you should only worry about those fees if you order several hundred dollars worth of goods shipped outside the US. We are unable to determine these fees during the checkout process. You can contact your local Customs office for details.

Signature Requirement

Signature required may be requested on the shopping card. It is optional.

Missing Items / Discrepancies

Any wrong item or missing item(s) must be reported to us within 48 hours from delivery. We cannot replace or compensate for missing items after the 48 hour period.

Cancellations

Cancelled orders may be credited as a store credit or refunded with a 3% to 10% credit card fee.
