2003 Isuzu Ascender Keyless Entry Remote Fob Programming Instructions
Note: All existing transmitters will need to be reprogrammed during this procedure M
- Close all vehicle doors.
- Insert key into ignition
- Hold down the UNLOCK button on the driver side door panel. Continue to hold down until instructed to release in step 9.
- Perform steps 5 through 8 in fairly rapid succession.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (do not crank the engine)
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position ( do not crank the engine).
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Release the unlock button on the door panel. The vehicle should lock and unlock the doors automatically.
- Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter simultaneously until the doors lock and unlock to confirm programming. – (You may need to hold LOCK & UNLOCK for up to 30 seconds.)
- Repeat step 10 for each additional transmitter (including any preexisting transmitters).
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position to exit the transmitter programming mode.
