2000 Plymouth Neon Keyless Entry Remote Fob Programming Instructions
This programming procedure requires you to already have at least 1 working remote transmitter for your Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. If you do not have anyremote transmitters you must get this new one programmed by a qualified locksmith or dealership.Please review the procedure before attempting programming. There are 2 possible programming procedures available. Please try procedure 1 first. Ifthat does not work, use procedure 2
Programming procedure #1.
Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. Sit in vehicle with all doors closed and the driver’s seatbelt on. Make sure no one else is in the vehicle.
- Put key in ignition and turn ignition switch to ON position (last stop before cranking the engine).
- Press and hold UNLOCK on a currently functioning remote for 4 to 10 seconds.
- While holding the UNLOCK button during the 4 to 10 second period, press the panic button for one second and release both buttons at the same time. A chime should sound within three seconds to indicate the vehicle has entered programming mode.
- Press the Unlock button on the remote used in step 3. You should hear an audible tone indicating that remote has been re-programmed. This step must be done within 30 seconds of hearing first chime in step 3.
- Within 30 seconds – Press the Unlock button on the next remote. -Repeat step 5. for all additional remotes including working remotes
- Programming is now complete. Turn ignition off and test remotes to ensure proper programming.

Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. Sit in vehicle with all doors closed and the driver’s seatbelt on. Make sure no one else is in the vehicle.

- Press and hold UNLOCK on a currently functioning remote for 4 to 10 seconds.

- Press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on the same remote used in step 3. then release. You should hear an audible tone indicating that the remote was recognized.
