This is the uncoded service pack of the 8-cut flat face ignition lock cylinder used on many different models since 2000, beginning with the 2000 Focus, and continuing through some 2019 models.
Our C-42-197 does not include the large retaining clip that fits onto the end of the plug. But it does have an active retaining pin which cannot be depressed without the plug being turned, so the importance of the retaining clip on the end of the plug for security is reduced. The old clip may be reused and placed on the end of the plug of C-42-197.
