GODIAG GT106 PLUS Heavy Duty Truck 24V to 12V Converter Upgraded Version

The GODIAG GT106 PLUS Heavy Truck Power Module Converter is designed to convert a heavy-duty truck diagnostic interface from 24V to 12V. It is compatible with various diagnostic devices, including x431 EasyDiag 3.0, EasyDiag 2.0, Golo Carcare 3, ICARSCAN Golo Technician Box, ThinkCar, ThinkCar 2, ThinkCar Pro, ThinkDiag, ThinkDiag Mini, and ThinkDriver OBD2 Bluetooth diagnostic adapters for truck diagnostics.

In addition to voltage conversion, the GT106 PLUS supports fuel injector cleaning and testing, as well as relay testing for both passenger vehicles and heavy-duty trucks.

The module converts the truck's 24V K-Line communication protocol into a 12V K-Line signal, allowing LAUNCH diagnostic equipment to safely communicate with heavy trucks while protecting 12V LAUNCH diagnostic heads from potential damage caused by the higher voltage system.

Function:

• Convert the 24V voltage of the diagnostic interface of heavy trucks, light trucks, pickups, etc. into 12V voltage that can be used by diagnostic equipment.
• Convert The 24V truck k-line communication protocol into the 12V k-line communication protocol.
• When inputting 24V voltage, the screen will display the input voltage is 24V, manually pop up the switch button.
• When outputting 12V voltage, the screen will display the output voltage is 12V, manually press down the switch button.
• The communication protocol indicator light shows that when the device is communicating, and it can display the communication status.
• Relay Test for both cars and heavy duty trucks.
• Fuel injector testing for both cars and heavy duty trucks.
• Fuel injector cleaning for both cars and heavy duty trucks.(This feature requires the additional purchase of an extension cord and a bottle of cleaning agent.)

Features:

Relay Test

When the car's headlights, turn signals, horn and the engine starter do not work, if there is no problem with these components after detection, you can check the relay switch.
After the relay is removed from the car, connect the adapter based on the connection of the relay.

Fuel Injector Test:

When the vehicle has difficulty in starting, acceleration and fuel consumption, etc, it is necessary to check the fuel injector.

When detecting the fuel injector, if the fuel injector is driven to open or close, the ammeter shows the normal value and the fuel injector woks normally, it means that the fuel injector is normal. Otherwise, it means that the fuel injector is damaged.

Note: Use a 24V 8A power supply to test the fuel injector of the truck and the time should not exceed 120s.

Fuel Injector Cleaning:

When the fuel injector is blocked, the fuel injection is not smooth. There are carbon deposits and thick sticky substance in the gap of the fuel injector. The designed fuel injection volume or atomization effect cannot be achieved, it needs to be cleaned. 

• Prepare a fuel injector cleaner pressurized can or a carburetor cleaner pressurized can(nozzle diameter of the pressurized cans: 4mm)
• Hold the manual cleaning tool tightly with your hand, and firmly fix the fuel injector with your fingers to prevent the pressure of the cleaner can from washing away the the fuel injector.
• Pay attention to the hazards of liquid to human body during manual cleaning, and take protective measures. Do not operate in dangerous places with open flames because the pressurized cans are extremely flammable. Choose an open place to facilitate the discharge of cleaning liquid.)
