I HAVE AN 884 MINI. WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO I NEED BEFORE PURCHASING THE TKM.XTREME KIT?

TKM.Xtreme Kit for cloning Megamos® Crypto (ID48) transpon - der keys is done via the Keyline Cloning Tool program for your PC (Windows 7 and higher) and/or the Keyline Cloning Tool app for your Android phone or tablet (must have USB-OTG). A stable Internet connection is also required.

DO I NEED AN INTERNET CONNECTION TO USE THE TKM.XTREME SOFTWARE?

A stable Internet or Wi-Fi connection is necessary to clone Megamos® Crypto (ID48) keys with the TKM.Xtreme with either the 884 Decryptor Ultegra or 884 Mini.

IS IT NECESSARY TO UPDATE MY CLONING TOOL BEFORE ACTIVATING THE TKM.XTREME SOFTWARE?

Yes. Both the 884 Mini and the 884 Decryptor Ultegra must be updated to the newest software version before activating the TKM.Xtreme.

I ALREADY ACTIVATED MY CLONING TOOL WITH THE ORIGINAL TKM.KIT SOFTWARE. DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR THE TKM. XTREME KIT?

Yes, these are two separate software updates and must be purchased individually.

WILL THE TKM.XTREME ALSO COVER THE MODELS IN THE ORIGINAL TKM.KIT?

Yes, the vehicle makes and models from the TKM.Kit will be included in the TKM.Xtreme update.

I ACTIVATED MY CLONING TOOL WITH THE TKM. XTREME HEAD. CAN THIS BE RE-USED?

Yes, the TKM.Xtreme head with the laser etched ‘Xtreme’ can be re-used to make a key. It cannot be re-used to activate software on another cloning tool.

CAN I USE MY PC OR SMARTPHONE/TABLET FOR OTHER OPERATIONS WHEN CLONING A MEGAMOS® CRYPTO (ID48) KEY?

It is possible, but not recommended. It is better to wait until the cloning process is done to resume other functions. If using a mobile device, any phone calls during the cloning process will take precedence.

WHICH TKM ELECTRONIC HEAD ACTIVATES THE SOFTWARE ON MY 884 DECRYPTOR ULTEGRA OR 884 MINI?

To activate the TKM.Xtreme Kit software to your account, it is necessary to use the electronic head included in the activation kit. This head is laser etched with ‘Xtreme’ on the front.

DOES THE TKM.XTREME KIT CLONE ALL MEGAMOS® CRYPTO TRANSPONDERS?

The TKM.Xtreme Kit was designed to clone Megamos® Crypto (ID48) transponders.

I’M NOT SURE WHICH TYPE OF MEGAMOS® CRYPTO TRANSPONDER THE VEHICLE HAS, DOES THE SOFTWARE IDENTIFY THE TYPE?

Yes, the TKM.Xtreme software will indicate the type of Megamos® Crypto (ID48) transponder and will indicate if you are NOT able to clone this type.

IS THE TKM HEAD INTERCHANGEABLE WITH THE TK100?

No. TKM does not replace TK100 and the TK100 cannot work for TKM applications. The TKM can only be used to clone Megamos® Crypto (ID48) transponders as indicated in the TKM.Xtreme application chart.

HOW MANY TIMES CAN THE TKM HEAD BE RE-CLONED, IF NECESSARY?

The TKM head can be re-used up to 10x after the initial activation.

CAN I CLONE AN EXISTING TKM KEY TO ANOTHER TKM HEAD?

Yes, the TKM can be cloned from another TKM. It will be read as an original Megamos® key.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CLONE A KEY WITH THE TKM.XTREME KIT?

The time it takes to clone a Megamos® Crypto (ID48) key varies based on server requests. Currently, an estimated wait time is displayed, which could be lengthy, but actual cloning time is usually less than the wait time stated. Please note: the estimated wait time will change as time goes on, it is based on the amount of server traffic.

DOES THE VEHICLE NEED TO BE PRESENT WHEN CLONING A MEGAMOS® CRYPTO (ID48) KEY?

Yes, the vehicle must be present as you will be prompted to take the TKM head to the vehicle for the sniffing procedure.

CAN I MAKE MORE THAN ONE TKM KEY FOR A VEHICLE?
