Medeco High Security Locks PX-KYLUBE-11 Fluid Film Key Lube is a premium spray designed specifically to maintain Medeco high-security cylinders. Built to tight tolerances, these locks need routine servicing to function properly. Medeco officially recommends Fluid Film because its fast-penetrating formula delivers up to ten times more lubrication than standard alternatives, making it ideal for heavily used locks.

As the exclusive lubricant used in Medeco's factory, PX-KYLUBE-11 is globally available to ensure your locks perform at their best without the risk of damage that can come from using other products.

Specifications:

• Flash Point, Bulk Liquid: 405° F minimum.
• Non-Volatile: 89% minimum (3 hours @ 220°F).
• Specific Conductivity: Less than 10 -9 ohm/cm @ 1 mHz.
• Specific Gravity: 0.875 - 0.885 (less propellant).
• Effect on Rubber: None on neoprene and buna-n. May cause swelling on non oil-resistant rubber goods.
• Effect on Paint: None on most painted surfaces.
• Effect on Aluminum: No pitting.
• Extreme Pressure: Fail load - 15 pounds.

Application Instructions:

• Shake can well with nozzle opening pointing away from the face.
• Place the plastic spray tube against the keyway opening and press the nozzle down using a very brief burst of spray.
• Allow the lubricant to penetrate the cylinder for 10 seconds before inserting the key. Wipe away excess lubricant if necessary.
• Operate the key in the cylinder several times to ensure disbursement of the lubricant.
• It is also recommended to clean the sidebar area of the cylinder: Insert the key and turn 90 degrees clockwise. Place the end of the plastic spray tube as close as possible to the top shoulder of the key. Spray with a quick burst. This will clean and lubricate the sidebar slot on the inside surface of the cylinder's shell.
