The Porsche Steering Lock Emulator is an advanced ESL emulator designed for Porsche vehicles from 2005-2012. It provides a plug-and-play solution and does not require programming or adaptation.
The Porsche ESL (Electronic Steering Lock) module is prone to mechanical failure, which can cause steering lock faults and prevent the vehicle from starting. When the ESL malfunctions, even a properly functioning vehicle key may not start the vehicle because the steering column lock cannot be activated.
Replacing and programming a new ELV/ESL steering column lock can be costly. The Porsche Universal Steering Lock Emulator provides an alternative by bypassing the original steering lock system and eliminating the need for a replacement ESL in applicable situations.
